Good CEO videos are hard to find in online annual reports. Partly because the CEO often has only little time on the actual shooting date. But is it possible to create a great CEO video with only 30 minutes of actual shooting time? We say it is – if you invest enough time in the preparation.

Digital Sustainability Report.

With the Sustainability Report 2017, ProSiebenSat.1 went one step further compared to previous years. Instead of the detailed image parts of the Public Value Report 2015/2016 and the following report update 2016, a more detailed report on the sustainability key topics of the Group was published in June 2018. This also led to changes in the development process with the aim of making it as clear and flexible as possible. The entire report was therefore produced as part of our Online FirstTM process, which provides both an online and a PDF version of the report.

Video Message from the CEO.

Numerous studies show how important a strong appearance is – both internally and externally. Stakeholders associate CEOs directly with the business success of a company. In times of crisis, CEOs with a good reputation are given more confidence. Also, the acquisition of shares is decided by many shareholders – among other factors – based on the image of the top management. CEO videos are furthermore a statement of appreciation for an annual report and its readers.

Corporate Reporting Research 2015.

Each year we conduct an extensive research, to gain insights on the actual status of digital corporate reporting. As in the 2014 research, we looked at both the annual and corporate responsibility reports of the 150 biggest European companies in terms of turnover on the one hand and market value on the other hand. Following the assumption that companies want to make corporate information available for the biggest audience possible within their target group, we put the topic of accessibility in the centre of this year’s analysis.

eni annual report 2014.

For the 2014 eni annual report our client’s desire was to provide only introductory information online and link users to the PDF report in order to continue reading. The resulting online report summarises eni’s year in four main chapters and surprises users with a completely new appearance.

A high-quality PDF generated from the online report.

The Galapagos annual report was created following the nexxar Online First process. In this multi-channel approach, the online report, the PDF and other report formats can be generated directly from our web based CMS nxrEdit. Instead of building a HTML report that is based on a print design/concept, both report versions were conceptualised and designed at the same time.
