And another week has passed! Time sure flies when it’s high reporting season. The week of course hasn’t been challenge-free but at nexxar we know that comes with the package. Here’s a breakdown of this week’s reports. Stay tuned as there will be more.

Wacker – Annual Report 2017
Wacker has yet again entrusted us with the always inspiring task of implementing their Online Annual Report. This year we have further expanded on the dynamics of the previous report with a definite penchant for clarity. To this end we have utilized a minimalistic and unobtrusive, yet holistic approach for the landing page which enables clear navigation and prompts the reader to immediately engage. Two good highlights would be the “Wacker World Map” with all the sites scattered across the world as well as the magazine section.

Volkswagen – Annual Report 2017
German auto giant Volkswagen is a long-time client. This year’s motto of the Annual Report is “face the change”, which encompasses Volkswagen’s resolve to tackle change and reminds us that smart change comes from people, for people. In order to honour this concept we have made extensive use of warm colours that make the landing page really inviting and welcoming. Also, particular emphasis has been placed on the magazine section with relevant and current stories ranging from E-mobility to smart sustainability. The report of course also offers key features like our interactive chart generator.

ProSieben – Annual Report 2017
ProSieben’s Annual Report 2017 is awash with cool interactive features like the animated headers, which will surely make navigation more engaging. This year’s magazine is full of interesting articles, pictures and animated infographics and videos – providing a lot of vividness and different channels for the reader to experience. Most of all this year’s highlight will be the little animations which will catch the reader’s attention.

Deutsche Bank – Reports 2017
Deutsche Bank has been working with us ever since 2003 – pretty much since nexxar was founded. This trust put into us has always translated into a great sense of responsibility which has always challenged us to better ourselves. One major challenge is always the time frame: from data delivery (InDesign) we implement the Annual Report of Deutsche Bank in almost 72h as a full-HTML version. Apart from the Annual Report nexxar also takes care of the Non-Financial Report 2017 and the Human Resources Report 2017.

AkzoNobel – Annual Report 2017
This year’s AkzoNobel Online Annual Report will yet again turn a few heads. It is as visually engaging as always with an excellent mix of channels on the ample landing page to tell an unequivocal history of success. As usual, there is an engaging CEO video embedded. Worth-mentioning of course are the case study videos which give the whole report a very human and moving touch.

Ferrovial – Consolidated Financial Statements & Business Performance 2017
Ferrovial are our very first Spanish client so it was a huge responsibility for us to surpass their expectations. For Ferrovial the approach was to create the Consolidated Financial Statements & Business Performance sections as interactive microsites. To this end, we put a very specific emphasis on the lavish design of the landing page that really optimizes the full-screen width with an excellent and clear navigation.

Swiss Re – Reports 2017
This year Swiss Re is incorporating the Business Report, the Financial Report and the CR Report – all three of them easily accessible via the unobtrusive landing page or a smart tab system that serves as a header. Worth-mentioning is the parallax effect created by the landing page focusing on figures and the magazine. The Business Report has a lush magazine part with a myriad of pictures, infographics and highlighted key figures. The Financial Report has five video statements from senior management which serve the purpose of this type of report. The CR Report has a nice landing page with a nice parallax effect and teasers to the main chapters of the report.
